Sequip Sales Partner Meeting 15th. of May 2009 in Düsseldorf
On May 15th we invited our Sales Partner to Düsseldorf to introduce our technology about particle measurement and demonstrate the instrument and software.
We were very pleased to welcome our Sales Partner from Korea, Switzerland, Germany and Taiwan.
Main points in the discussion were applications like crystallization, polymers and insitu measuring in the process.
We would like to thank all participators for the successful meeting in the Hotel Litzbrück in Düsseldorf Angermund.

Sequip insitu particle size sensor systems in operation at HiTec Zang GmbH
Germans leading R & D Reactor Systems manufacturer HiTec Zang has added new capabilities to his active sophisticated software and reactor systems facility in Herzogenrath near Aachen Germany. With new equipment for insitu particle morphology and size distribution the control loop is now closed for synthesis and calorimetry supplied by automated chemical process development specialist, HiTec Zang.

HiTec Zang CEO Andrea Zang said, we will use the new equipment and instrumentation in our process development programs in order to more rapidly and safely scale-up a synthesis from laboratory conditions to manufacturing level.
"These investments allow us to rapidly optimize chemical processes and better understand process safety parameters prior to scale up," said Prof. Dr.-Eng. Werner Zang (CTO), of HiTec Zang. The company has been manufacturing Pilot Plant and R&D facilities since the 1979, and has developed substantial expertise in high-potency control software and hardware systems which are directly interfaced with the Sequip sensor systems.. "Our customers will benefit from time savings," added Chemist Dr. Kusserow and R&D Director Dipl. Eng. Rolf Massberg of HiTec Zang.
The combined use of parallel synthesis with Particle Size instrumentation of Sequip PAT sensors means that more reactions – spanning a broader range of conditions – can be achieved. High Tech Zang and Sequip’s flexible adhensed and modular system integration offers parallel synthesis system captures real-time data and provides electronic records, useful for post-experiment analysis and safety enhancements. These include the addition of Sequip ’s Particle Image Analyzing Sensor (PIA) which is used to evaluate the onset of shape changes and modulation of morphologies during crystallization inside the HiTec Zang reactor systems and there technologies.
“Traditionally, an experienced scientist could conduct two experiments manually in the laboratory” said Dipl. Eng. Anke Haase, Sequip’s Europe Application Director. “With the new system, multiple experiments can be conducted simultaneously. The basic system can be operating in four reaction vessels with on analytical software integrated in a HiTec Zang reaction system and can be expanded to provide tremendous information concurrently”.
